Brow Lift Houston

Elevate, Smooth, and Rejuvenate the Upper Face

Often, the eyes and the forehead area show early signs of aging, which include wrinkles, frown lines, or heaviness of the eyebrows. Few people even have deep lines or “worry lines” on their forehead, which sometimes portray unintended emotions.

A brow lift in Houston, also known as a forehead lift, is a surgical procedure that elevates drooping brows, smooths forehead wrinkles, and restores a more alert, youthful appearance to the upper face. At Aesthetic Surgery Institute, Dr. Do, a double board-certified cosmetic surgeon with over 20 years of experience, performs brow lift surgery using endoscopic techniques that minimize scarring and reduce recovery time. The procedure typically takes 1–2 hours and is performed on an outpatient basis.

How Is a Brow Lift Performed?

A brow lift is performed by making an incision above the ears at the top of the scalp, hidden in the hairs, or in an inconspicuous area if the hairline is receding or hair loss is an issue with the patient. The cosmetic surgeon then removes, alters, and re-drapes the skin after the removal of underlying extra fat and muscles. This results in a smooth forehead and elevated eyebrows. The eyes as a result also appear more open and awake.

For an endoscopic brow lift, our surgeon makes 4–5 small incisions behind the hairline. A tiny camera (endoscope) is inserted through one incision to guide the repositioning of the forehead tissue and underlying muscles. The skin is then redraped and secured for a smoother forehead and a naturally elevated brow position, with no visible scarring.

What Can a Brow Lift Improve?

A brow lift at Aesthetic Surgery Institute can address a range of upper-face concerns, including drooping or heavy brows that create a tired or angry expression, horizontal forehead lines and deep furrows, vertical frown lines between the brows, and upper eyelid heaviness caused by brow descent. It is frequently combined with blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) or a facelift for more comprehensive facial rejuvenation.
